The application
Catalogue and study
your medieval coins.
A privacy-respecting offline application for collectors, researchers, and curators. Built around a structured reference catalogue beginning with the Duchy of Lorraine, after F. de Saulcy.
In active development. Not yet released for public download.
What it does
Catalogue your collection
Record obverse and reverse images, weight, diameter, denomination, ruler, mint, attribution, provenance, and free-form notes. Browse by ruler, denomination, period, or mint, and track want-status for coins you're seeking.
Cross-reference to standard works
Link entries to Saulcy, Roberts, Boudeau, Flon, KM, Numista, and your own bibliographic catalogues. Add as many references per coin as you wish.
A built-in reference
Ships with a curated catalogue of the Lorraine ducal coinage, painstakingly digitised from F. de Saulcy's nineteenth-century corpus. Browse the canonical types, plates, and attributions while cataloguing your own pieces.
Print collection labels
Generate PDF flip labels for your trays and 2×2 holders. Configurable layouts, with the bibliographic detail in proper numismatic typography.
Your data, locally
Your data lives in a local SQLite file. No accounts, no servers, no subscriptions, no telemetry. Export whenever you wish, and back up by copying a single file.
Built for scholarship
Designed by a collector who wanted bibliographic precision, structured data, and full export. If you wanted a spreadsheet, you'd use a spreadsheet.
